Advisement

Do you need help selecting courses appropriate for your personal skills and goals? Contact an ACX advisor who will assist you in selecting courses appropriate for your skills. Advisors are available at the ACX office (South Campus, 950 building, ground level). Advisement is free and available by appointment Monday through Thursday 5 p.m.–8 p.m. To schedule your appointment, email us or call 626 396-2319.

Advisement by phone or email is also available. You may send us questions along with three to five JPG or PDF files of your artwork via email. For phone advisement, call 626 296-2319 and leave a message with your phone number and the best time to reach you. An advisor will return your call.

Digital Media Courses

If you have questions about your eligibility for Motion Design courses or other digital classes or are trying to waive prerequisites for these courses, please send us questions along with three to five relevant digital files (including all layers or channels) of your artwork to via email.

ArtCenter Degree Programs

Admissions counselors can provide you with portfolio requirements and specific information regarding bachelor’s and master’s degree programs at ArtCenter. Counselors are located at Hillside Campus and are available during business hours. To schedule counseling appointments for these programs, contact the Admissions Office at 626 396-2373 or via email.

Additionally, details on the College’s admission and portfolio requirements for its degree programs are available on ArtCenter’s website. If you live in the US, you may also request a printed version of ArtCenter’s Viewbook. Because these are sent out via bulk mail, it will take approximately three weeks to receive. If you live locally or are visiting the campus, you may pick up a Viewbook in the Admissions office Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
