Important Dates

All of ArtCenter’s graduate programs accept applicants for the Fall Term only.

Application Opens: August 1

Priority Application Deadline: January 15

All applications received by the Priority Application Deadline will be reviewed for the following Fall term entry. Application decisions are published through the spring, usually no later than early April.

After the Priority Deadline has passed, applications will continue to be accepted until programs fill to capacity. There is no way to predict if or when a program will fill. If you are planning to apply after the priority deadline, we recommend reaching out to gradadmissions@artcenter.edu to inquire as to whether a specific program is full and no longer accepting applications.

Upon admission, spaces are reserved following receipt of the reply form and a $400 non-refundable tuition deposit, accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants should be aware that the status of openings can change very quickly. Applicants should consider their space reserved only after receiving a written confirmation from the Admissions Office. Deferrals of acceptance are not granted for graduate programs.

In addition, U.S. citizens and permanent residents must complete the FAFSA to be considered for scholarships and financial aid. International students cannot submit the FAFSA but will be considered for scholarship if they indicate they would like consideration on their application.
