The historic 165-acre campus nests atop the San Rafael Hills overlooking the Arroyo. Hillside Campus features the iconic modernist bridge designed by Craig Ellwood. The architectural gem has been home to the College since 1976. The structure houses classrooms, office spaces, functional workshops, two film/sound stages and gallery spaces.
The wooded campus also features wide open spaces with a lawn, a basketball course, sculpture garden and a open air pavilion. The campus was featured in multiple films and television series including Bones and more recently, in the Panorama Magazine photoshoot.
Located right off the CA-110 freeway, the College's South Campus houses the Mullin Transportation Design Center, a futuristic 31,000-square-foot complex featuring expansive, adaptable spaces including a rooftop garden, classrooms, office and gallery spaces that can be seen in Magneto. There is also a sound stage available for filming and smaller scale productions located inside the building.
ArtCenter also offers state-of-the-art theaters that are ideal for screenings.
Other campus spaces and facilities are also available for filming, exhibitions, and special events, providing additional flexibility beyond primary screening venues.
