ArtCenter College of Design and The Brick host the U.S. segment of LIVE ON EARTH!, a 24-hour global symposium exploring ecofeminism, art, and environmental justice. The Los Angeles program features a keynote by scholar and activist Silvia Federici, panel discussions, video screenings, and a special rooftop gathering led by Mexico City-based colectivo amasijo, featuring a circular procession and communal meal.
Representing the Americas and serving as the final eight-hour segment of the three-city event, the symposium at ArtCenter in Pasadena will be co-facilitated by Jane McFadden, art historian and ArtCenter Dean of Interdisciplinary Studies, and Catherine Taft, ArtCenter faculty member, alumna and Deputy Director of The Brick.
