Cecilia Pavón (b. 1973, Mendoza, Argentina) is a poet and writer based in Buenos Aires. In 1999, she cofounded the independent art space and small press, Belleza y Felicidad, where a generation of now celebrated Argentinian artists exhibited for the first time. Pavón has published poetry and short stories in Argentina, México, Brazil, and Chile. In 2012, she published her collected poetry under the title Un hotel con mi nombre (A Hotel with My Name). Her other publications include the poetry collections 27 poemas con nombres de persona (2010), La crítica de arte (2016), Querido libro (2018), Once Sur (2015), and the short-story collections Todos los cuadros que tiré (2020), Los sueños no tienen (2010), and Pequeño recuento sobre mis faltas (2015). A number of her works have appeared in English, including Belleza y Felicidad (Sand Paper Press, 2012), as well as A Hotel with my Name and Licorice Candies (Scrambler books/Sand Paper Press, 2012, 2015).
Pavón works as a literary translator from German and English into Spanish. She has translated authors including Chris Kraus, Werner Schroeter, Diedrich Diederichsen, Ariana Reines, and Dorothea Lasky. In 2019, she founded Microcentro Poetry Office, a space dedicated exclusively to poetry readings in downtown Buenos Aires. Last year, Bonbons à l'anis, an anthology of her work, appeared in French from Brook et Varichon & Cie, and this April a selection of her short stories, Little Joy, will appear in English from Semiotext(e).

The Graduate Art Seminar is a forum for graduate students and members of the ArtCenter community to enter into dialog with internationally recognized artists, critics, and art historians. The Seminar is a core component of ArtCenter's Graduate Art program. The Seminar is also free and open to the public.
ArtCenter's Graduate Art program is based on intensive studio practice and rigorous academic coursework. The program is distinguished by its low faculty-to-student ratio that provides students with the attention and feedback they need to refine and achieve their artistic goals. Faculty and students are artists working in all genres—film, video, photography, painting, sculpture, performance and installation. A significant number of alumni have achieved national and international acclaim and often return to share their insights and expertise as visiting faculty and guest lecturers.
