You are invited to join ArtCenter alumni, friends and supporters for a memorable tour and gathering at the studio and foundry of Richard MacDonald (BFA 1971 Illustration).

Richard MacDonald is considered by many to be the world’s preeminent living figurative sculptor. A leading advocate of the neo-figurative movement in the arts, Richard’s work has been featured in hundreds of solo and group exhibitions and is represented in important collections worldwide. His art is collected by people from all walks of life – from aspiring aficionados to celebrities and heads of state.

Located in Monterey, Richard's 32,000 sq. ft. studio space is where his magical artistry happens – from ideas created in the artist’s atelier to the bronze sculptures forged in the state-of-the-art foundry. The Monterey studio is also committed to inspiring the next generation of artists by giving them a space in which to work, learn, and master their craft.
