Join us for a special evening with internationally acclaimed fashion designer Jason Wu.

This special program will feature a dynamic panel conversation with Jason Wu, ArtCenter faculty member Elise Co and ArtCenter president Karen Hofmann. Together, they will explore Wu’s remarkable career and creative practice, from launching his label to shaping global fashion at the highest level.

The discussion will highlight his recent collaboration with Elise Co for his 2024 New York Fashion Week runway show, presenting his Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear Collection, and will delve into themes of craft, heritage, and the enduring contributions of AAPI designers to the fashion industry.

Jason Wu rose to international prominence at age 26 when First Lady Michelle Obama wore his gown for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Ball, a design now part of the Smithsonian’s permanent collection. He later served as Artistic Director of womenswear at Hugo Boss and continues to be a leading presence at New York Fashion Week. His collections are sold globally, and he has dressed some of the world’s most celebrated women including Reese Witherspoon, Julianne Moore, and Liu Wen.

RSVP is required.

We look forward to welcoming you for this inspiring evening of conversation and creative insight.

Jason Wu’s visit to ArtCenter is made possible by Trustee David C. Martin, his wife, Mary Martin, and their nonprofit, MADWORKSHOP.
