The San Marino League (SML), a Southern California nonprofit dedicated to philanthropy and the advancement of fine arts education, proudly presents the Art Matters 2026 Gala. This milestone event commemorates a 50-year partnership with ArtCenter College of Design and brings together leading artists, collectors, and supporters for an evening celebrating fine art and philanthropy.
Art Matters showcases some of the nation’s most accomplished artists, featuring an exceptional juried exhibition of paintings available for acquisition. The evening will also include distinctive works by invited artisans—ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, and home décor—created especially for the event.
The juried exhibition will be anchored by four featured artists selected from an outstanding group of painters: Peter Adams, Sigrid Burton, Jason Situ, and Thalia Stratton. It will also include work by four ArtCenter students, underscoring the next generation of artistic talent.
Proceeds from the sale will support Fine Art student scholarships at ArtCenter College of Design and the Japanese Garden Endowment at The Huntington.
Tickets: $275 (tables and sponsorships are also available)
