Join us for an evening as we explore the importance of uniting the visual identity and the physical form. Hear from 3 experts why, more than ever, packaging design matters.

*Each term the Graphic Design Department at ArtCenter invites three design professionals to address a certain topic of interest. The Q&A will be moderated by Petrula Vrontikis.

The event is free and open to the public.

Presenters

John Creson, Principal at DesignStudio, San Francisco

John finds inspiration in working alongside a talented team that shares the same desire to create positive change. He loves getting lost, reading, learning, running and riding, coaching and playing. He is grateful for his family and attempts to lead a life worth living. 20 years of experience helping people and brands become better. Previously John worked for global agencies, Addison and Landor Associates.

Mathew Foster, Creative Director, Radical Co-operative

Mathew has over a decade of experience as a multidisciplinary designer and creative director, collaborating with small independent businesses and the occasional international corporation. After several years of work with Wieden+Kennedy and interactive agency Instrument, he helped launch the Official Mfg Co in Portland, Oregon.

Rudy Manning, Founder and Creative Director, The Pastilla Institute of Design

Rudyruns a creative agency focused on strategic branding. His work encompasses digital, print, film, animation and advertising. Since 2004, Pastilla has created work with global brands, including Nokia, Microsoft, SAP, Westfield, Relativity & Disney. Rudy holds a BFA in Graphic Design from ArtCenter College of Design, where he is an instructor in the Graphic Design department.
