COVID-19 update 05/05/2022:

ArtCenter remains committed to maintaining a culture of safety and throughout the pandemic has communicated and collaborated with City of Pasadena and County of Los Angeles Public Health offices in the decisions made. ArtCenter understands the pandemic is still very present and we are continually evaluating and updating our policies and protocols in accordance with public health orders and Cal OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard.

For ACX students with on-campus courses:
Although most ACX courses this term will be taught remotely, a few will meet in person. You’ll see the campus location listed next to each course description once you start the registration process.

For those students who upload their vaccination records 3-5 days prior to your first class meeting, wearing face masks on campus will now be optional. See details below.

If you are unable to receive the vaccine for medical reasons or strongly held religious beliefs, you will need to request an exemption and will be required to wear a medical grade mask while on campus. See details below.  To request an exemption, please send an email to: ehs@artcenter.edu. Be sure to include your status (ACX student, faculty) and ArtCenter ID number.

Submitting vaccine verifications:
If you are vaccinated, please upload a photo or scan of your vaccination and booster records here: vaccination verification formUse your ArtCenter username and password to log-in and submit the required information.*  We recommend completing this process 3-5 days before coming to campus.

*If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact ArtCenter’s Help Desk: helpdesk@artcenter.edu)

When you arrive on campus:
Please sign in at the Security Desk with your name and email address and complete the covid-19 screening questions. Please also bring a copy of your ACX class schedule and be sure to let the security officer know that you are there to attend an ACX class.

Hillside Campus: park in the Student Parking lot then follow signs to the Sinclaire Pavilion for check-in;
South Campus: check-in at the security desk for the building you will be visiting.

If you have not submitted vaccination records, medical grade face coverings must be worn while on campus according to CDC guidelines which require wearers to cover the mouth and nose. Recommended styles are KN95, KF94, or N95. Cloth masks or masks with exhaust valves are NOT permitted.

If you forget your mask when you arrive at ArtCenter, one will be provided for you. Hand sanitizer will also be available.

Please stay home if you have cough, chills, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat, fever (100° or higher), shortness of breath, headache, muscle pain, or loss of taste or smell.
