COVID-19 update 11/19/2021:

At ArtCenter, the safety and well-being of our students, faculty and staff is our top priority. Due to the fluidity of the COVID-19 situation—and in step with the most recent state and local guidelines—we are limiting our in-person courses at the College at this time. As a result, Spring 2022 courses for ACX Teens and ACX Kids will be taught remotely. Although most ACX adult continuing education courses will be taught remotely this fall, a few will meet in person. See In-Person Requirements below.

Detailed information on how to access your online courses will be emailed to enrolled students approximately one week before the start of class.

Technical requirements:

  • Access to a computer (laptop, desktop) or a mobile device (tablet/smartphone)
  • Access to a webcam (most computers and mobile devices have built-in webcams)
  • High speed internet access (Wi-Fi or 4G/5G)
  • Zoom app (system requirements)

We know this news may be disappointing, but these restrictions are for the safety of everyone. Remember, we’re all in this together.

Although most ACX courses this fall will be taught remotely, a few will meet in person at the Hillside Campus or the 870 and 1111 buildings at South Campus. You’ll see the location for each course listed next to each course description once you start the registration process.

ArtCenter policy requires all persons who want to access our physical spaces to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This applies to ACX students, faculty and staff, as well as to those in the degree programs. (Physical spaces also include ArtCenter Student Store, the library, copy center.)

The process for submitting verification of vaccination is now available on Inside ArtCenter.

Please complete this process as soon as possible to avoid any delays in accessing campus. Use your ArtCenter username and password to log-in and submit the required information.

If you are vaccinated, complete this simple vaccination verification form

If you are not able to get a vaccine, you will need to request an exemption.

The verification form asks you to attach an image of the English language side of your CDC vaccination card (if you received your vaccination in the United States) or the English language version of the documentation you received from another country.

To request an exemption, please include the following in an email to

  1. Your status (ACX student, staff, faculty)
  2. ArtCenter ID number

If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact ArtCenter’s Help Desk:

First-time ACX students: if you need access to ArtCenter’s physical campuses, please register first to receive the username and password you’ll need to access Inside ArtCenter for submission of your vaccination records.

Despite the availability of vaccines, we are still in a pandemic and will continue to deploy pre-vaccine mitigation practices. In addition to providing vaccination records, individuals who want to access ArtCenter’s campuses must also:

  1. Complete the College’s mandatory 2021 COVID-19 Safe Practices training (involves watching a 45-minute video): COVID-19 safety training
  2. Wear face coverings over your nose and mouth while on campus and practice other hygiene and sanitation measures as an extra layer of protection against COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses;

When you arrive on campus, please go to the security desk, complete the check-in process as a “Visitor” and complete the covid-19 screening questions, OR TO SPEED UP THE CHECK-IN PROCESS, before arriving on campus:
  • Download the Envoy app from Google Play on your Android device or the App Store on your iOS device. To create an account with Envoy, please use the same email address you used when you registered for ACX classes.
  • Before coming on campus:
