Learn the best applications of a variety of materials—wood, plastics, plaster, metal and paper—to create art and design projects rooted in originality. Our assignments are intentionally experimental, allowing students to explore innovative solutions to the development of form, structure and texture. We’ll cover the safe operation of woodworking and some metalworking machines, as well as techniques of mold-making and material safety.
