Biography

Miguel Gil obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from National University of Art, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and a Master's in Fine Art at Complutense University of Madrid, Spain and has worked in the animation industry in Europe and in the United States for almost 40 years.

In Europe for studios like: Disney Animation France; Gaumont Films, France in Asterix, Le Coup de Menhir; Hahn Films, Germany in Asterix in America;
Don Bluth Studios, Ireland in Thumbelina, The Secret Garden of Stanley, All Dogs go to Heaven II; Le Studio Ellipse, France in TinTin.

In the United States has worked at Disney Feature Animation in Fantasia 2000, Tarzan, Emperor's New Groove, Beauty and the Beast Special Edition and Home on the Range. At Warner Brothers Feature Animation in The Looney Tunes Back in Action. At Disneytoon Studios in Brother bear II and Tinkerbell 1 to 5. At Sony Feature Animation in Hotel Transylvania II and III.
