Eric Cruz is a Creative Leader, Director, Designer, and Educator with 23+ years of global experience. He is a hybrid creative--using design, film, moving image, music, art, technology, innovation and CX to bring a unique perspective to storytelling and design in the connected age. He has held various leadership positions in agencies worldwide, developing a model for the creative network of the future, exploring how creativity can help invent tomorrow today. Most recently as Sid Lee USA and Digital Kitchen's ECD for innovation and design, he led the charge to exploring The New, Now and Not Yet through innovative storytelling, products, platforms and experiences. He was previously ECD at AKQA Shanghai and Leo Burnett Malaysia and spent 11 yrs at Wieden+Kennedy Portland, Tokyo, London. He was also co-founder of W+K Tokyo Lab--W+K's music label and experimental outlet. To help shape the next generation of creatives, he continues to teach in the countries he works in.
