Wendy Adest is the chair of Integrated Studies, an undergraduate “horizontal” department focusing on skill development across disciplines. She is a writer and visual artist. She has exhibited at the LeBand Art Gallery, Loyola Marymount University, Woodbury University, the Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, the Torrance Art Museum and ArtCenter’s Williamson Gallery. She is the recipient of the Ralph M. Parsons Design Research Grant for Digital Media.
Her nonfiction works include a paper on analog drawing in the era of digital media as part of an international design symposium at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, India, and the book Art Work, Choosing a Life in Art. She has recently completed her first novel, Echo Chamber, a psychological mystery story with a dash of cultural critique.
