Biography

Gayle Donahue is a Los Angeles-based illustrator and fine artist. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in design ultimately working as a free-lance illustrator in advertising and merchandising. Her clients include the Beverly Hills Hotel, Walt Disney Studios, Walt Disney Consumer Products, and Cedars Sanai Medical Center. Her paintings and collages have been featured in numerous exhibitions. The work is represented by J. Cacciola of New York, Thomas Paul Fine Art in Los Angeles, and CK Contemporary in San Francisco. She has taught classes at UCLA Extension and Otis College of Art andDesign, as well as conducting seminars on mixed media and creativity. Donahue is a Professor in the Illustration Department and has taught drawing classes at ArtCenter since 1990.
