Biography

Megan Kim is an artist and educator based in the greater Los Angeles area. Upon completing her degree in Entertainment Design from ArtCenter, she grew a freelance career in a vareity of industries ranging from fabrication, illustration and animation to name a few. She has worked with wide range of clients such as Newell Brands, Gold Hirsh Foundation, and the American rock band, "OK Go". Megan is also the owner of Megguran Studio LLC where she designs her own line of stationery goods, plush toys, and collection of original artwork. While currently teaching here at ArtCenter, she is also an educator at El Camino Community College in Torrance. 

Megan has extensive knowledge of the Model Shops and lab spaces here at ArtCenter and loves to encourage students to build new skills, no matter how indimidating some of the machines may be.
