Nik Stefanov is an industrial design leader with more than two decades of experience delivering production vehicles and aerospace interiors from concept through release. His career spans startup and advanced manufacturing environments, where he has led design teams at companies including Fisker, Karma Automotive, Divergent 3D and Czinger Vehicles. Across these roles, he has contributed to multiple production vehicles and low-volume high-performance programs, working at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing to translate complex constraints into production-ready hardware.
In parallel with his industry work, Nik has taught at ArtCenter College of Design for over a decade, mentoring hundreds of transportation design students. His teaching focuses on real-world production workflows, cross-functional collaboration, and the practical skills required to move designs from sketch to physical product. Drawing directly from his experience in startup and production environments, he prepares students to operate effectively in fast-moving teams where design decisions must hold up to engineering, manufacturing, and market realities.
