Honor the Creative Spirit of Victor Robinson (BS 1995 Product Design)
Victor Robinson’s path from growing up on a farm in Sacramento to becoming an accomplished product designer was shaped by his time at Pasadena City College and ArtCenter. He credited these experiences—and the faculty and classmates who inspired him—as pivotal in launching a career filled with curiosity, imagination and heart.
Victor’s work brought joy, beauty and fun to the world. Whether designing for Disney, DreamWorks, Nike, Lego, or Lucasfilm, he reimagined how we perceive and interact with everyday objects. Even before “upcycling” had a name, he gave new life to discarded materials, transforming them with wit, purpose and hands-on creativity.
Through the Victor Robinson Memorial Endowed Scholarship, Victor’s legacy will live on at ArtCenter by supporting students with a connection to Pasadena City College, and by encouraging this next generation of designers to embrace the fearless creativity, commitment to excellence and sense of fun that Victor brought to everything he did.
Your gift will help establish the Victor Robinson Memorial Endowed Scholarship at ArtCenter and help ensure future students dream big, explore boldly and shape the world with the same joyful spirit that defined Victor’s life and work.
