The Kit Baron Memorial Endowed Scholarship

For over three decades, Kit Baron helped define ArtCenter College of Design.

As Senior Vice President of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Kit shepherded thousands of students into ArtCenter and supported them through graduation. Kit possessed a rare ability to recognize talent and possibility. She carried a deep reverence for ArtCenter and an almost mystical gift for articulating how an ArtCenter education could transform a life.

As Tom Stern, Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, reflected, “To know Kit was to participate in the magic of the potential of becoming an artist or a designer.”

Simply put, Kit Baron embodied ArtCenter.
