As we mark the one-year anniversary of the Palisades and Eaton fires, we invite the ArtCenter community to come together.
This gathering provides an opportunity to connect with each other, reflect and acknowledge the loss and impact of the fires, and the path forward together.
The community will take part in a poppy seed planting at ArtCenter’s Hillside Campus. The California state flower, the poppy, is known for its resilience and its ability to grow and thrive in challenging conditions. Here, the poppies will serve as a symbol of remembrance and renewal as the recovery and rebuilding process continues.
All members of the community are welcome.
ArtCenter is pleased to participate in the Great Altadena Poppy Project, a regional grassroots effort to plant 250 million California poppy seeds in areas impacted by the Eaton Fires.
