BIOGRAPHY
Philip van Allen is an interactive designer, educator and researcher with 30 years of experience at the intersection of technology and the creative arts. He founded interactive production company Commotion in 1993 and has worked with clients including Philips, Nestle, U2, Yoko Ono, Infiniti, and The Huntington. van Allen is also lead author of the publication The New Ecology of Things, part of his research that explores the emerging world of ubiquitous networks with smart objects and spaces.EDUCATION
