ArtCenter is committed to maintaining an inclusive community that is supportive of students and employees. Part of this commitment is providing an educational and working environment that is free of sexual misconduct. ArtCenter does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of sex in its education programs and activities, including admission and employment practices, as required by Title IX of the Higher Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in education programs and activities receiving federal funding.

Under leadership of the Director of Title IX Compliance and Programs serving as the College’s Title IX Coordinator, the newly established, independent Title IX Office works with the Title IX Team to stop, prevent, and remedy the effects of sexual misconduct and gender-based discrimination for all students, faculty, staff, and guests.

In compliance with Title IX regulations, ArtCenter has adopted and published grievance procedures that provide for the prompt and equitable resolution of student and employee complaints alleging any action that would be prohibited by Title IX or the College’s Sexual Misconduct Policy. Detailed information about the grievance procedures, including how to report or file a complaint of sex-based discrimination or harassment and how the College will respond, can be found in the College’s Sexual Misconduct Policy.

Additional information is available in the Sexual Misconduct Resource Guide.
