Managing Director, Public Programs / Director, ArtCenter Extension
Dana Walker-Juick is managing director of Public Programs and director of ArtCenter Extension (ACX) at ArtCenter College of Design. She oversees the College’s extension programs, which include ACX (adult continuing education), ACX Teens (grades 9 through 12), ACX Kids (grades 4 through 8) and the Summer Institute for Teachers (Design-Based Learning for K through 12 teachers).
Walker-Juick is a member of the College’s senior leadership group, serves on the College’s Council on Diversity and Inclusion, and represents her division's interests as a member of various campus committees.
Prior to her tenure at ArtCenter, Walker-Juick worked as a freelance architectural photographer and graphic artist. She is currently working on a series of images that explore fine art concepts in photography. She holds a BA in journalism/public relations from the University of Southern California, and a BFA in photography from ArtCenter College of Design.
As the daughter of an artist who is also a retired arts educator, Walker-Juick is passionate about creating awareness of art and design education and opportunities for students of all ages and abilities.
