Increase knowledge about grants and learn the importance of exploring other fundraising tools in order to increase unearned income and produce more work. The workshop will help you broaden your perspective on project fundraising options for individual artists or designers; share project fundraising basics such as developing your database; discuss creating budgets and determining where to best focus your efforts and grant strategies for individual artists. You will be introduced to project fundraising ideas, beyond grants, that can be incorporated into project fundraising plans.
Taught by industry leaders and open exclusively to ArtCenter alumni, The Business of Art and Design workshops offer insight into goal-setting, marketing, money management, legal issues, negotiating, strategic planning, time management, and project financing.
