Experience Captured Aural Phantasy Theater – the sensationally skilled L.A.-based acting troupe – as they bring to life, on stage, bizarre, outrageous, and just plain goofy vintage comic book tales of passion and desire. Magnificently illustrated post-war America comics titles like Modern Love, Saddle Romances, Weird Science-Fantasy, and Shock SuspenStories are reinvigorated through CAPT’s unique, creative, and lively presentation.

In its signature show format, the Captured Aural Phantasy Theater players interpret comics tales in the style of a retro radio program. Added to that are musical acts, live sound and visual effects, projected art, and even more astonishing elements. With this perfect mix of variety, radio, cabaret, and multimedia performance, CAPT is designed to entertain all your senses.

1950s Comic Book LOVE STORIES promises to be a thrilling way to kick off your Valentine’s Week, and is not to be missed. Come solo or bring a loved one.

This event is FREE and open to the public.

Presented by Michael Dooley’s “Design History of Comics & Animation” Event Series.
