ArtCenter College of Design | Pasadena, California | Learn to Create. Influence Change.

Saturday High

Our high school-level program gives teens an opportunity to explore visual disciplines and their creativity with a faculty of professional artists and designers.

Inventing, experimenting, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and just having fun are part of the process of learning at Saturday High.

We offer foundation courses in drawing, painting and illustration, and introduce the design process through courses in advertising, graphic design, film, letterpress printing, photography, and environmental, product and transportation design.

Many Art Center students began their quest for a career in art and design in Saturday High.

Classes meet for 10 weeks on our Hillside and South campuses in Pasadena. Most classes meet on Saturdays, with morning and afternoon sessions available during the Fall, Spring and Summer terms.

Several weekday courses are also available. During the Summer Term, we offer five-day intensive workshops.

Tuition remains modest, keeping Saturday High accessible to students of all social and economic backgrounds. Scholarships are available to students with financial need.
