Planned Giving

Planned gifts (also called deferred gifts) are contributions promised by donors that will be fulfilled and benefit Art Center students in the future.

These gifts require thoughtful planning, and can involve coordination between an attorney and/or financial advisor and the College.

Individuals making planned gifts to Art Center are recognized for their commitment through membership in the Tink Adams Society, named in honor of Art Center’s visionary founder.

There are many ways you can make a planned gift that both accomplishes your financial goals and provides much-needed support for Art Center's students. They can include Life Income Gifts and Bequests.

Life Income Gifts

Life income gifts are attractive to many donors.

They provide their donor with a pre-determined steady income stream for a period of years or for a lifetime, often at a substantial tax savings.

Life income gifts can enable a donor to accomplish overall estate planning goals, while providing substantial aid for future Art Center students.

Bequests

Numerous friends and supporters of Art Center include the College in their estate plans. For many, a gift through a will may be the most practical way to make a significant contribution to the College.

If you are interested in learning more about making a planned gift to Art Center, contact Associate Vice President of Development Maya Chalich at maya.chalich@artcenter.edu or 626.396.2437.

These descriptions serve to educate you about the general types of charitable planned gifts and are not meant to be professional tax or legal advice. Please consult a qualified advisor about your specific situation.
