Description
Art Center College of Design is seeking an adjunct faculty to teach Human Factors relating to the field of design in the Department of Humanities & Sciences. Human Factors is a field dedicated to designing products and services with the user in mind. The user’s needs, tasks, the environment of use, and other important factors are essential elements to any great design. The course introduces basic principles through practical application to realistic design scenarios emphasizing design methodology.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Factors or Ergonomics or related degree in human factors and ergonomics discipline
- PhD in Human Factors or Ergonomics preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years teaching experience
