U.S. Students
To maximize your chances of receiving full consideration for all forms of aid, U.S. students should submit the FAFSA as soon as it is available in January, regardless of the term for which you will apply to Art Center
Some programs, such as Cal Grants, have once-a-year deadlines that do not relate to Art Center’s deadlines
The Cal Grant deadline is March 2. Cal Grant applicants must also submit a grade point average verification form to the California Student Aid Commission by March 2
The GPA must be certified by the registrar at your prior college (or high school if less than 24 college units). You may obtain a GPA verification form online at calgrants.org.
The Financial Aid Office will calculate a financial aid award package upon your admission to the college.
Scholarships are limited in number and are awarded to students who demonstrate financial need and show exceptional potential in their portfolio and record.
Students can apply for scholarships and financial aid as they apply on a rolling basis, but we suggest meeting our priority dates as follows:
Priority Dates
If you miss these priority dates, you may still be eligible to apply for scholarships and other financial aid. You can also apply for scholarships as a continuing student once you enroll.
Students will be notified of any scholarship awards by the following dates:
International Students
International students may apply for Art Center scholarships by submitting all admission materials. No special forms or the FAFSA are required.
