Siobhan Burke is an architect in Los Angeles and the founder of Lyric Design & Planning, a multidisciplinary architecture practice with expertise in active transportation design, public space, sustainable development planning, and design guidelines. The keystones of Lyric''s design process include consciousness of sustainability, social equity, and accessibility while creating experiences that are functional, engaging, and delightful. Deriving inspiration from high to low including everyday objects, shifting patterns in nature and haptic systems, Siobhan works with playfulness of scale, depth, and context to inform her design. Siobhan is a registered architect in California and a LEED accredited professional. She graduated with a Masters in Architecture from the Yale School of Architecture and holds undergraduate degrees in civil engineering and architecture from The Catholic University of America. Siobhan has been teaching at Art Center College of Design since 2012.
