Biography

Jeannie Winston is a Los Angeles based artist who brings more than thirty years of experience in illustration, creating children’s books for Simon & Shuster, Scholastic and others. She worked in the infant bedding industry turning her illustrations into textiles and bedding designs and became the lead designer for both Kids Line and Lambs and Ivy. She began working with the interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard creating his inaugural line of textiles, and recently completed another line of textiles with him. This collaboration shifted her focus to textile design, and her studio continues to produce designs for clients such as Ralph Lauren, Citizens of Humanity, and many others. Constantly curious about the world around her she believes that harmony and balance have the ability to transform lives. Using this principle, she has created a new line of rugs for Mehraban Rugs in Los Angeles.
