Gabrielle Jennings

Gabrielle Jennings is an artist and writer living and working in Los Angeles. Jennings has taught in the Graduate Art program for over twenty years and in 2015 she edited a collection of essays for the University of California Press entitled Abstract Video: The Moving Image in Contemporary Art. Jennings has been artist in residence at Kunstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin and 200 Gertrude Street Artist Spaces, Melbourne and has been honored with grants and fellowships from Art Matters, Philip Morris Kunstforderung, and the Samsung Faculty Enrichment Grant. Among others, writers Harold Fricke, Jeremy Gilbert-Rolfe, Cay Sophie Rabinowitz, and Jan Tumlir have written about her work.
