Biography

Dennis Phillips is the author of 17 books of poetry, among them NAVIGATION, Selected Poems 1985-2010; and a novel, HOPE. His commentaries and poetry appear regularly in national and local literary journals. He was the editor of and wrote the introduction to JOYCE ON IBSEN. His newest books are DESERT SEQUENCE (Magra Books, 2016) and MAPPA MUNDI (Talisman House Publishers, 2019.) His latest translation project is MORE FUGUES, by Susanna Rabitti (Magra Books, 2019.)  Phillips is a professor in the Department of Humanities and Sciences and the Director of Humanities.
