Biography

David Luce attended ArtCenter, graduating with honors in 1986. After graduation, he worked for entertainment and design studios in Los Angeles as an illustrator, graphic designer and art director for film advertising campaigns’ including: Robo CopThe Witches of EastwickCry in the DarkBeetle Juice, and for Universal Studios Hollywood and the Luxor Pyramid Hotel in Las Vegas.  

He has taught at ArtCenter since 1986 and also taught at Otis College of Art and Design and at Loyola Marymount University. He graduated with honors from Claremont Graduate University with an MFA 1998. He has lectured and given workshops at the J.Paul Getty Museum. His fine art has been exhibited at the Getty Museum, Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery, The Library of Congress and the Orange County Center for Contemporary Arts.
