Dates and Deadlines

 

Art

Graduate Art applicants can apply for the Fall or Spring terms. Priority dates by which to receive application materials are February 1st for Fall and October 1st for Spring. If space is available, applications will be considered beyond those dates. Check with Admissions for availability. Notification will typically take place within one month of a completed application and financial aid shortly after.

U.S. citizens and permanent alien residents must complete the FAFSA to be considered for scholarships and financial aid. International students need only submit application materials. Spaces are reserved based on receipt of a $400 non-refundable tuition deposit and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants should be aware that the status of openings can change very quickly. Applicants should consider their space reserved only after receiving a written confirmation from the Admissions Office.

Film

Applications for Graduate Film are accepted for the fall term only. Applications are due on February 1 for priority consideration, including potential for scholarship awards.

We will continue to accept applications up until the beginning of the semester, as space is available. Check with the Admissions Office for the most current information on availability of room. Applicants who apply after the February 1st priority date may not automatically be considered for scholarships, depending on the availability of funds.

If space is available, reviews will continue and applications will be accepted beyond that time. You can check with the Admissions Office.

Media Design Practices

Students enter in the Fall semester only. Applications are due on the following deadlines for priority consideration, including potential scholarship awards:

February 1: Lab track, Field track

Applications received after the deadlines will be considered based upon available space. Decisions and notifications for February applicants are made by the end of March. Applications cannot be deferred.
