Biography

Photographer and video artist, educator. Gayotto obtained an MFA from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1996, and her work has been featured in many exhibitions nationally and internationally. She has received numerous awards including the City of Los Angeles (C.O.L.A) Fellowship and Individual Artist Grants from The City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs; and was an artist-in-residence at The Banff Centre, Canada; Threewalls, Chicago and Lucas Artist Fellow at Montalvo Arts Center, CA.
