With curb-less streets, the Living City enables transformative environments to empower all to travel independently and frictionlessly. Inspired by Hans Modermann’s Shared Spaces, the Living City returns fifty-percent of today’s streets back to pedestrians by moving high-speed mobility below ground and by opening up city spaces for pedestrians to share with low-speed transit, dynamic spaces, events and programming.
