One of America’s top magazine illustrators, Mark English has worked with the world’s largest publishers. He has illustrated for such publications as "Time," "Sports Illustrated," "Redbook," "The Atlantic" and "Rolling Stone," and in many corporate and pharmaceutical publications as well. He has also designed 14 stamps for the U.S. Postal Service. English began painting for himself in 1995 and his work has been seen in gallery exhibitions all over the globe. His paintings have also appeared in many private collections and have been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan. The most awarded illustrator in the history of the New York Society of Illustrators until the 1980s, English was elected to its Hall of Fame in 1983. In 2001, English was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco.
