AFTER EARTH is a 2050 test scenario for an ecological, self-sustaining, managed, desert community for research members who try to bring “life” back to the desert from around the world, in partnership with the United Nations, with the goal of creating a world in which desertification can be prevented, and eventually stopped, by ending the vicious cycle of environmental deterioration. Through using integration of future mechanical technologies, creating a self -sustaining community system and planting tasks. AFTER EARTH helps research members acclimatize desert environments at same time to devise further planting tasks as long-term solutions and interventions, to lessen global desertification.
