Abaddon is an action RPG set in 1980s New York, in the midst of a mythological takeover. Characters from all manner of cultures, cliques, and mythologies clash in this chaotic new world where influence is everything. Tear up the streets with slick shooting and melee combat, and spice it up with unique abilities and even supernatural drugs… I did say it was the 80s, didn’t I?
This project was developed over two years with the aim of delivering a ‘vertical slice’, industry slang for what is essentially a full quality pitch, about a 15-20 minute experience meant to sell and demonstrate what the full game would look like.
