Located inside a former supersonic jet-testing facility at ArtCenter’s South Campus, the Wind Tunnel Gallery is home to a number of programs and exhibitions by ArtCenter’s Graduate Media Design Practices (MDP) program.
In addition to acting as a dedicated space for MDP student work—intriguing projects which investigate emerging ideas from culture, science and technology—the Wind Tunnel Gallery also hosts the Wind Tunnel Lecture Series, an annual collection of popular talks presented by ArtCenter’s Graduate Center for Critical Practice featuring distinguished artists, designers and futurists interested in the social and creative implications of the intersection of art, design and technology.
South Campus’ location at the terminus of the historic Arroyo Seco Parkway—and only a block from the Metro Gold Line (Fillmore Station)—means that the Wind Tunnel Gallery is easily accessible to both invited guests and the general public.
