If you are a first-time participant, you are invited to be a part of our Peer Coaching Seminar. This three-day seminar by teachers for teachers has been designed to meet the California Standards for Teaching Practice at grade level.
Introduction to Design-Based Learning (DBL)
Winner of the 2006 California School Boards Association Golden Bell Award for exemplary programs.
Join experienced DBL K–12 educators in all subjects as they lead small groups of first-time participants through an introduction to the Design-Based Learning program. Discover, at your grade level, how to optimize learning with tools and resources that promote critical thinking, excite and involve students, and lead to high achievement on standardized tests.
When and where:
Each three-day session meets from 9 am–1pm in the Design-Based Learning Lab at Art Center College of Design’s South Campus, 950 Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.
Cost:
$185 for either session includes tuition and provides two units of credit. Please make checks payable to Art Center College of Design.
