Founder and CEO, Crossover Creative Consortium

Michael Robinson predicts that by 2050, cars will drive themselves—allowing for a massively reduced physical safety kit count that would translate into lower weight and emissions. Founder of start-up design firm Crossover Creative Consortium, Robinson has three decades worth of experience designing vehicles for such automotive greats as Ford and Volvo. From 1996 to 2005, he served as director of the Lancia and Fiat Design Centers, where his creations include the Fiat Bravo/Brava/Marea, Lancia Lybra, Lancia Thesis, Lancia Phedra, Lancia Ypsilon and Europe’s top-selling delivery van, the Fiat Ducato. A native Californian, Robinson has lived in Turin, Italy, since 1979.
