His revolutionary design of the PT Cruiser captured the attention of the world, and placed designer Bryan Nesbitt at the forefront of the automotive industry. Today the Art Center alumnus is vice president of design for General Motors North America, where he is responsible for all of GM’s U.S., Canadian and Mexican brands including Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick, Pontiac, SAAB, Saturn, GMC and Hummer. Nesbitt previously oversaw GM’s design operations in Europe as executive director of design. Since joining GM, Nesbitt has developed exteriors of such new models as the Pontiac Solstice, Pontiac G6 coupe, Cadillac DTS, Buick Lucerne, Chevrolet Impala, HHR and Cobalt coupe, Saturn Aura and Sky, Saturn Outlook and Buick Enclave.
