THE MDM PROJECT =
A PARTNER + A CONTEXT + AN ISSUE

Each MDM Project has three components:

• A partner — an international development agency, NGO, national level non-profit or local community partnership;
• A context — defined socially, economically, politically, and/or geographically;
• A communications issue — such as staying connected with rural relatives, sharing youth journalism in a low-tech environment, or real-time information mapping for supplying aide in a local or global crisis.

Our first project partner wiill be announced shortly. Visit the Designmatters site to get a sense of the kinds of partners that we have worked with, from local to global, including UNICEF, the U.S. Geological Survey, and Childrens Hospital Orange County, among others.
