The Media Design Program and
Designmatters
at Art Center College of Design
have teamed up to create the
Media Design Matters Track within the
Media Design Program Masters.

CREATE IMPACT

The Media Design Matters (MDM) track within the Media Design Program MFA brings design into new areas, such as International Development, Social Activism, Community Practice, Public Policy, Business and Economic innovation, Sociology, and Anthropology. It is an educational experience that is uniquely suited to individuals who relish a complex challenge.

At the core of the student experience is the MDM Project. These team-based field projects give students the opportunity to interact with real people on a real-world issue. Partnerships are conducted in the field with: an international development agency, NGO, national level non-profit or local community organization. Our first project partner, beginning Summer 2012, will be announced shortly. In subsequent years, a consortia of partner organizations will engage with MDM.

Graduates of the Media Design Program are prepared to take design in new directions by following their curiosity and allowing new practices to emerge in a context of cultural and technological change. Visit the MDP website.
