WELCOME

“During today’s difficult economic times, Art Center students depend on the existence of scholarships to finance their educations, making our group’s mission more critical than ever. When you become part of Legacy Circle, you have a direct impact on Art Center students.”

Gail Howland PHOT ’04 and Dan Ashcraft PROD ’73, Legacy Circle Co-Chairs

What is Legacy Circle?

Legacy Circle is an alumni-led group of volunteers committed to supporting our students through financial contributions. All money raised—100 percent—is distributed to our students through Art Center scholarships.

We chose the word legacy because it denotes a unique lineage—a heritage or tradition—born in the past and carried forward from one generation to the next. This is our commitment—growing the next generations of Art Center students.

Established in 2006 to engage alumni and friends in making gifts to the College, Legacy Circle raises funds for scholarships to ensure that the next generation of leading designers and artists can attend Art Center regardless of their financial need. To date, members have contributed more than $300,000 and pledged $800,000 in planned gifts.
