The global brand design manager for Uber since 2014, Strahan McMullen directs the digital ecosystem and brand experience for the innovative transportation company. McMullen began his design career at an alternative weekly newspaper and in 2005 created Studio 451, a full-service graphic design studio, with work appearing in "Dwell," "Metropolis" and "Trend." He stepped up his branding game at Landor in San Francisco, taking active design responsibilities with such clients as Logitech, NFL/Super Bowl, NetApp and FedEx Office. In 2010 he joined the Attik design and branding team, working with Scion, Yahoo!, Ubisoft, Boost Mobile and OnLive. He later joined AKQA and redesigned apps and enterprise-level websites for Audi and Jordan among others. McMullen’s work has received national and international recognition from Red Dot, "Graphis," "Mashable," "Print Magazine," "I.D. Magazine" and the Adobe Achievement Awards. While attending ArtCenter, he received the Joe and Rosa Farrer Endowed Scholarship.
