In September 2005, nine art students from the Southern California area were invited to France for two weeks to seek inspiration from the regions of Alsace, Brittany and Provence. The trip was sponsored by Maison de la France USA/The French Government Tourist Office and the Cultural Services of the French Consulate in Los Angeles. The students were selected from three prestigious American schools: Art Center College of Design, California Institute of the Arts and Otis College of Art and Design. Since their return, these young artists have created two works each, expressing their vision of the regions they visited. These works will be exhibited February 23 through March 1, 2006 at the MB Fine Art Gallery in Los Angeles and sold at auction.
