Virtual insects live inside the cocoon-like forms and are awakened by
pointing the beam of the flashlight at the screen. As the insects follow the
beam around the screen they are nourished by its energy and new insects
will be born, carrying the genetic code of the parents. Too much light energy will burn the insects and they fade away. The viewer controls virtual life,
evolution, and death.
